Questions and Answers:

Q: So the HEPA filter is in addition to the bag, the motor filter and the active air clean filter?

A: The C1 Cat and Dog  model comes with Active Air Filter which is different then a HEPA or Air Clean Filter.  The Air Clean is different and does not come with this model, air clean is the basic filter.   The HEPA and Active Air Filter's are interchangeable so you can use one or the other.

Q: I was wondering if it’s not a great idea to get a bag vacuum because  of all the additional costs for bags and filters?

A: You will realistically go through 1-2 boxes of these bags a year which is not that expensive compared to other cleaning products yor purchase throughout the year.  If you are looking for a vacuum for allergy sensitivity then you do not what bagless which will defeat the purpose of HEPA when you do to empty the dust cup.  Bagged vacuums typically have a longer life expectancy then bagless models.  You also need to change the filters on the bagless models which is usually the same prices as bags per year. Some bagless models say they have a washable filter but washing a HEPA makes no sense when you think about what HEPA does, also washable filters eventually need to be replaced.

Q: Is there a comparable bag less vac to the C1 Cat & Dog or is it apples/oranges?
